Quick Fact

Fuchsias are edible. The purplish berry on the left in the photo, at the base of the flower, makes for a tart treat. Make sure your plants are in their second year after being pruned all the way back, or that they were grown organically before you start munching them though. They are generally sprayed with chemicals you absolutely should not eat. The blossoms are also edible but I like the berries better.
