It's another gorgeous day in San Diego. I am still working on basic stuff in the garden like going through and pruning, feeding, watering and cleaning as needed.
I am anticipating jasmine blooms again so I've decided to try training them all around the windows in my back garden which open to my living room inside.

I started with eye screws and fishing line a few weeks ago |

And I added more yesterday to continue training the vines around the windows. |
You probably don't want to do this if you are very concerned about the condition of your paint because the vines may damage it but I am not so concerned and feel that a little touch up paint will be worth my jasmine scented living room. I will be pruning these vines often which is another consideration, if you don't like pruning then this may not be the best idea for you.

Gidget says, "Are you really talking about stupid flowers yet again? Where are the chickens?" |
